Our Vision

A Church Where:
You Belong.
You Believe.
You Become.

Who We Are

Seven Lakes Church was birthed out of a stirring from the Lord. We continued to feel God tugging at our hearts and calling us to slow down and listen. Through prayer, an abundance of scripture, and many confirmations from believers and non-believers, we decided to step away from our previous ministry and start a church.

Our desire for Seven Lakes Church is that it would be a Jesus-centered church where people from all walks of life can belong. Our vision is simple: belong, believe, become. We truly believe that when people have a place to belong, it creates an opportunity to believe, which grows into a lifelong pursuit of becoming like Jesus.

Our Mission

Be with Jesus.
Be in Community.
Do what Jesus did.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—The Father, The Son, whose name is Jesus, and The Holy Spirit—co-eternal in being, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and glory, each having the same character.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that  Jesus is the Son of God. He became man without ceasing to be God when he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sin-free life. He did this to show us who God the Father was and to make us right with God through his death on the cross and resurrection from the grave. We believe that the risen Jesus ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God, interceding on our behalf. Jesus will someday return and rule as our forever King.

 (John 1:1–2, 14; Luke 1:35, Romans 3:22-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 7:25)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the eternal Spirit of God and He convicts the world of sin, of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment; He is the supernatural agent in making people new by indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit helps us to grow in God and equips us to be used by God to make a difference in this world.

(John 16:8–11; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:22-25; 1 Corinthians 12:7, 12-13)
We believe that man and woman were created in the image and likeness of God, but that through Adam’s (the first man) sin, the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Mankind is inherently sinful and is unable to redeem his separation from God without the sacrifice of Jesus.

(Genesis 1:26, 27; Romans 3:22-25, 5:6-8; Ephesians 2:1-5)
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is available to everyone who believes. Faith is expressed through repentance, confession, baptism, and a life of abiding (becoming like) in Jesus. We believe that those who are made right with God can have confidence and assurance in their salvation.

(Romans 3:22-25; Acts 3:19, 2:38; Romans 10:9-10, John 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14, 1 John 5:13)
We believe the mission of the Global Church is to make disciples. The Church does this by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with all people. The Church empowers people to live on mission for Christ by helping them connect, discover, and respond to his word and his will.

 (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:37-42)
